Established in 1961, Sonoma State University is a public university located in California. The university is one of the smallest members of the California State University system. Over 9,500 students and 300 international students are enrolled at Sonoma State, each pursuing a degree from an extensive list of program options. More notably, the university is home to the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies, the School of Business and Economics, the Wine Business Program, School of Extended & International Education, the Fairfield Osborn Preserve, Galbreath Wildlands Preserve, and the Sonoma State Observatory.
