Founded in 1906, Vietnam National University (VNU) is a public research university in Vietnam. VNU has 10 member faculties and colleges, and as Vietnam's national university, it is considered the most prestigious university in all of Vietnam. Currently, more than 10,000 students attend, with a growing number of international exchange and degree students as well.

As the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi is amazingly filled with both natural and man-made attractions. Some of the most popular sites to visit are the colonial buildings found in Old Quarter, the serene Hoàn Kiếm Lake, iconic Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, unique entertaining performances at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, and Bao Son Paradise Park. Throughout the city, you will find many food stalls where you can buy grilled meats, variations of the famous Vietnamese pho, local dishes like Bánh Mì (baguette-inspired dish), gỏi cuốn (a type of salad roll), and Chè (sweet dessert bowl).
